Terms of Service

These Terms govern access to and use of the X Markets platform, including websites, apps, APIs and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, Risk Disclosure, and any product-specific notices presented in-app. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

2. Eligibility & account opening

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and legally permitted to use investment and trading services where you reside. You represent that information you provide during registration, onboarding and KYC is accurate and complete. We may refuse, suspend or close accounts that fail eligibility, sanctions, or compliance checks.

3. Identity verification (KYC / AML)

To meet anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing obligations, we may require identity documents, proof of address, source-of-funds information and ongoing monitoring. Access to deposits, withdrawals, copy trading or other features may be limited until verification is complete. Providing false or incomplete information is grounds for suspension and reporting to competent authorities where required.

4. Account security

You are responsible for safeguarding credentials, devices and any connected wallets. Notify us immediately of suspected unauthorised access. We may require multi-factor authentication or additional verification for sensitive actions. You remain responsible for activity under your account except where caused by our proven negligence.

5. Nature of services

X Markets provides technology to access multi-asset markets, investment plans, portfolio tools and copy-trading features. We do not provide personalised investment, tax or legal advice. Nothing on the platform constitutes a recommendation to buy or sell any instrument. You make your own decisions and accept market risk.

6. Deposits, withdrawals & fees

Supported funding methods, processing times and fees are disclosed in-product and in our Fees & charges materials. We do not charge undisclosed “release” fees to unlock withdrawals. We may delay or refuse transfers that fail compliance review, involve incorrect wallet details, or appear linked to fraud or prohibited activity.

7. Copy trading

When you allocate capital to a strategy, eligible trades may be mirrored proportionally subject to risk settings, liquidity and system availability. Allocation may be locked while a copy relationship is active. Past performance is not indicative of future results. You can incur losses, including loss of allocated capital.

8. Prohibited use

You may not use the Services for money laundering, fraud, market manipulation, sanctions evasion, unauthorised scraping, abuse of APIs, or any unlawful purpose. We may investigate, freeze balances pending review, and cooperate with regulators or law enforcement as required by law.

9. Intellectual property

Platform software, branding, content and data feeds remain our property or that of our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services for lawful personal or business account use only.

10. Disclaimers

Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Markets can be volatile; connectivity and third-party providers may fail. You should only risk capital you can afford to lose.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, X Markets and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for trading losses, missed opportunities, or service interruptions beyond our reasonable control. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months preceding the claim, except in cases of fraud or wilful misconduct.

12. Suspension & termination

You may close your account subject to open positions, pending transfers and compliance holds. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, regulatory requirement, or risk to the platform or other users.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the platform or email where practicable. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
